Psychics

Psychics have extraordinary mental powers. They have a sixth sense or ESP (extra sensory perception) that enables them to look into the lives of people and predict future events. Derived from the Greek word psychiokos or psyche, which means soul or that which is mental, the word psychic is generally associated with fortune tellers and was first used by William Crookes, a chemist for describing Daniel Dunglas Home, a famous magician (1833-1886).

Psychics establish a soul connection or mental energy, which they use to know the past or future of another person or know what is happening or going to happen. Almost every person h as some psychic abilities, though some have more. These people are more in tune with their body-mind-spirit connection. They can also relate to external forces like spirits or divine beings and take their help in solving problems or understanding the unknown. Divination arts like psychometrics, astrology, tarot, palmistry, telepathy, I Ching, and Necromancies like Sances, Channeling and Ouija Board are some techniques used by Psychics.

Some Psychics use clairaudience, hearing or perceiving sounds which are not normally audible, clairsentience, knowing about an event, past, present or future, through a feeling and clairvoyance or extrasensory perception of an event which is not related to the senses.

Divination is the art of giving a prophecy, prediction or foretelling the future via the occult, while hiero is the act of automatic writing, painting or drawing. Precognition allows a psychic to see forward in time and prophesy is predicting a future event under the influence of divine guidance. Psychometrics derives power by knowledge of an object or a person by making contact. Psycho kinesis alleges the ability to move objects with the mind and remote viewing aids a psychic in seeing a person, place or thing without being in their presence. Telepathy is simply mind-to-mind communication.

Psychics can interpret problems in a person's life and offer solutions involving health, wealth, relationships, love and career by connecting or becoming a medium between the person and a higher power. They can interpret dreams, understand inner disturbances and even heal. There have been instances where the police department has used Psychics to find someone or to solve a crime.

There are many Psychics in the world. Several are willing to offer psychic reading, future prediction, psychic healing or mind reading for a fee ranging $1 per minute to $10-$15 per minute. Psychics may be contacted in person, by mail, phone or through e-mail. There are also several websites that offer free psychic consultation online. However, these free services are limited. Psychics are finding acceptance by many people and there is a demand, despite the skepticism of some critics. However, there are fake Psychics who claim to have great success with their powers, which is in fact obtained by cheating. So it is important to be aware of all facts while consulting a psychic.

Psychics provides detailed information about Psychics, psychic readings, psychic medium, psychic healing and more. Psychics is the sister site of Phone Psychics.

God the Astrologer

A frequent device in scripture is to put the most important item first in a phrase or a list. To observe the oceans move by the power of the moon, then declare that people are unaffected, is folly. To know that global conditions vary by the phase of the moon and claim it has no effect on people, is folly. So wherefrom came the idea that astrology is sorcery? It is a tribute to the dawn of the Aquarian Age, we don't execute astrologers for sorcery. So where did this link come from in the carefully cultivated Christian mind?

A story might explain it: In a large village, long ago and far away, there was a council of elders which pretended to wisdom. They were very jealous of a man who was truly wise and lived alone on the outskirts of town.

Being wise men of liesure they loved to spy upon the wizard. The council met weekly and discussed their wizard observations. In time the council decided the wizard was getting too much attention and probably offending God in th e process.

The wizard was executed and the people lived happily ever after. To this very day, all the descendents of all the people of that village, know that wise men are wizards and ought to be put to death, as they did in Russia and China last century. Today, when an all knowing Christian tells me astrology and numerology are sorcery, I know who his/her parents were.

Astrology An Introduction How To Understand Ourselves Better

Astrology is not a modern invention dating back only a few years, it dates back as far as recorded history and has fascinated man ever since.

Astrology is essentially about the interaction between the Planets, the various Signs of the zodiac and how they shape our personalities.

The relationships between all these inputs and their interactions are based on mathematics, and Astrology is the study of these mathematical cycles.

The force s between the planets involved in Astrology can be summed up in one word: Gravity.

The Sun has the greatest gravity and the strongest effect in Astrology, followed by the Moon. The other Planets are not true satellites of the EArth like the Moon, but, their gravity still affects the EArth.

Th e Sun controls the EArth's motion and the Moon controls its tides, but the other Planets have their own effects on the EArth and on the people who live under their influence - This is the basic theory behind Astrology.

Astrology can be understood as a philosophy that helps to explain life, rather t han a type of mysticism that can be used as a predictive tool.

Instead of focusing on what the Planets do to us, we can understand ourselves better based on planetary indications. Astrology binds all of us together:

We are all faced with planetary interactions in some shape or form, and we are all pArt of these planetary cycles.

The Horoscope and Its Uses

The horoscope is a map that is shown as a two dimensional chArt. It shows the position of the Sun , the Moon, and planets at the exact moment of your birth. The planets are frozen in their position at this precise time. The horoscope is sometimes referred to therefore as the birth chArt or the natal chArt.

A correct interpretation of your birth position can reveal much about your personality.

Horoscopes are not predictive as stated, they do not suggest that your life has already been decided. You of course have freedom of choice in life, but your horoscope does reflect your natural inclinations in relation to your personality traits.

An understanding of these can therefore shed light on the lessons you can learn from life, the issues you face, and the problems that you need to confront and solve.

It merely shows as an abstract formula - The personality you are born with.

The use that you make of your personality traits, will, depend upon you and the actions you decide to take.

Astrology can provide you with a greater understanding of your life, but it doesn't provide clear cut answers to all problems which you may have to confront.

However, obtaining information about your horoscope may give you some insights and understanding into the reasons why you behave the way you do and how you can adapt and change your behavior, to lead a happier life and more fulfilling life.

You can of course, also study other peoples horoscopes to gain a greater understanding of their personalities and understand wh y they act and behave the way that they do.

Horoscopes in conclusion allows you to more clearly understand and accept your personality and do the best you can with your natural attributes.

Just as importantly, it can help you understand the motivations and actions of others that influence your life.

How Does a Horoscope Work?

As we have seen the horoscope is a psychological map which shows certain patterns of our personalities.

In order to be able to make sense of this map, we need to know how it is made up.

Your astrological chArt, or horoscope as stated , is drawn from calculations based upon your exact date, time, and place of birth.

Every element of the horoscope, is expressed symbolically. Each symbol in the chArt represents a celestial body, sign, house or aspect.

Your chArt can be analyzed and the patterns and factors which influence your personality can be revealed.

The mathematical processes involved in formulating horoscopes have been translated into computer programs today and are easy for anyone to interpret.

An astrologer however, still needs to know how to complete the calculation, even if they have been used a computer.

Your horoscope is a map of the heavens at the time of your birth, and is usually drawn as an EArth-centered (or, geocentric) map showing the planetary positions as seen from your place of birth. Some astrologers also draw Sun-centered (or, heliocentric) maps.

The geocentric premise, however, is that since you were born on the EArth, and the focus is on you, an EArth-centered map reveals a lot about your personality and motivation. The 360-degree circle upon which this chArt is drawn represents you as a complete person.

Picture a line dissecting the circle into top and bo ttom halves. This line represents the horizon at the time and place you were born, the planets, the Sun, and Moon are then drawn in circle.

Those bodies falling above the line were above the horizon when you were born, those below the line are the opposite, they were below the horizon when you were born.

The circle is then divided into twelve segments, called houses; the first house falls just below the horizon line on the left side of the chArt.

The twelve signs of the zodiac lie on the dividing lines, or cusps, on the border of each of the houses.

The sign on the left horizon are called the ascendant ,or your rising sign. This changes about every two hours, so time of birth is extremely important!

Symbols for the Sun, Moon, and planets then all appear upon the chArt, as do those for the Nodes of the Moon, asteroids etc. Some of the houses in your chArt may be empty, but each house is connected to a planetary influence, even if it does not contain a planet.

The above then gives you a complete overview of your personality, your strengths and weaknesses and your natural direction in life. Discover What Astrology Can Do For You.

An Astrology report reveals who we are, where we come from and what our main strengths and weaknesses are. Astrology can also help us understand what is expected from and what we can achieve in this lifetime.

Gaining a greater insight about ourselves, can help us to change our direction in life and as a consequence lead a more fulfilling and happier life.

Horoscopes: Myth or Magic?

Do you read your Horoscope in the daily newspaper? Maybe you call the Horoscope hotline on occasion to find out what a reader has to say about your Future. You might even dabble in the occult yourself from time to time. Why do people care about this mysterious reading of their zodiac sign and the telling of their Futures? Is there any real truth in the predictions?

Horoscopes have been around for centuries if not millennia. Humans have long been fascinated with the earth and its relationship to other celestial bodies in the solar system and even the universe. Star constellations have been particularly interesting to stargazers, who attempt to make meaning from the constellations themselves as well as the shift of certain stars or planets, sometimes called heavenly bodies. The significance of certain planetary groupings, as well as solar or lunar eclipses, is believed to have a bearing on the chain of events in a persons life.

Such beliefs play a key role in our culture. Even the Bible emphasizes the importance of the Star of Bethlehem that showed the magi, or scholars, in the East where the infant Jesus was to be born. Nathaniel Hawthornes famous novel, The Scarlet Letter, associates various meanings with a shooting star viewed one night by Puritans living in 17th century Salem. The star was believed by some to stand for A with respect to hero Hester Prynne, the adulteress, and by others to represent A for angel regarding the dying governor.

As our species grew more civilized, we searched for answers to lifes problems among the things of the earth. When these did not always pan out, we turned our collective gaze to the stars of heaven, hoping for more information there. Some people believe they can read the stars and planets to make meaning that will illuminate other peoples lives. People of every land and civilization have attempted to read those specks of light that can be seen above us at night to find the answers to univ ersal and personal questions.

If you are wondering whether a Horoscope reader can help you, it may help to ask a few questions before handing over your credit card for processing. Ask about the readers credentials. Where did he or she study? How much experience does the person have? What are his or her specialties (i.e., career, romance, health, etc.). What happens if the persons predictions dont come true? Can the reader provide references for you to consult?

All of us thrill to the prospect of learning more about ourselves and the possibility of things to come. But be careful to use discernment in choosing a guide who will provide this information for you. Anyone can set up shop as a stargazer or Horoscope hustler, and in fact, many people do. Their information will often sound generic, and it could apply to just about anyone. So look for someone who seems to be a little more authentic than just anyone who puts an ad in the newspaper or sends you email spam.

9 Ways to Turn Mercury Retrograde into a Positive

Say the phrase Mercury Retrograde and watch people cringe.

The last time Mercury went retrograde, my computer crashed and I lost my data.

Mercury went retrograde and my application got lost in the mail.

The stories are legion.

It's true! Computer glitches and communications foul-ups are much more likely to occur during the time that Mercurys motion is retrograde than at other times.

So, should you go into hiding when Mercury goes retrograde?

Few of us have the ability to disappear from our lives for three-and-a-half weeks three times a year.

But you dont have to dread this event. True, I would opt for a different time to launch a direct mail campaign. But if you work with the energy, you can make it your friend.

When Mercury moves retrograde, it appears to move backwards - as seen from our perch on planet earth.

The key is to remember the significance of Mercury's retrograde motion.

Mercury is the planet of communication, thought, and mental energy. During Mercury retrograde periods, the energy is flowing inward and backwards. As a result, it doesnt function as efficiently in the everyday world as it normally does.

There are many reasons why the Mercury retrograde period is not a time to push forward.

Your mental energy is channelled into an inward direction now. As a result, communications are less clear. There is a greater tendency to hear what we think we heard rather than what the other person said.

Items involved with communication and local transportation, such as telephones, computers and cars, are more apt to have glitches. (Remember to back up the computer and double-check your appointments).

Lastly, your perspective is likely to change when Mercury changes direction and resumes its direct motion.

Which is why most astrologers counsel their clients not to sign important contracts during that period.

But Mercurys retrograde energy is an asset for many things. Use it for what it is designed to do and Mercury becomes your ally.

Here are nine ways to make Mercury Retrograde work for you. Note that many suggestions begin with the letters re. Think re for retrograde.

1. Re-connect.
This is the time to look up old friends and family. Youve been meaning to call Aunt Martha, or get together with your old high school buddy. Do it! Now is the time to pick up the telephone. Chances are they will be receptive and youll be glad you did.

And you, yourself, may hear from long lost pals now.

2. Re-search.
While it is not the time to go forward with grand plans, this is a superb time to research facts and ideas you can use later.

3. Re-view.
Take that application or take your business plan and give it a second look. Chances are you will see things in a different light. And that can give you ideas to strengthen it. And that second look will ensure you have cov ered the bases.

4. Re-do.
If you were too hasty the first time, or you chose not to follow my advice, you may find yourself having to redo that report. But each time you redo, you refine.

5. Re-fresh.
Your brain and your body were not designed to function 24/7. Taking a little time to kick back and relax refreshes you and ultimately makes you far more productive than trying to plow straight through.

6. Re-solve.
Go back and clean up old relationships that ended badly. You can resolve many issues now even bury the hatchet.

7. Back Burner items.

Now is the time to get to projects that have been pushed into the background.

8. Re-organize.
Mercury Retrograde is an excellent time to clean out old closets, old files, old agendas, throw out what is no longer useful to make room for the new.

9. Re-contact.
Are you in sales? Then, this is the perfect time to re-contact old leads.

If you must take on a n ew job or a new project during this time, know that it will change. A lot. So stay loose and flexible. Because your perspective will change also.

But if you had previously began a project, applied for that position, contacted that key lead, Mercury Retrograde will not affect you.

Use the Mercury retrograde time in a positive way, and youll be refreshed and renewed and ready to move forward when Mercury changes course.

Take Care when Communicating

Welcome to another week of self-discovery and universal understanding. This week's Forecast begins on Wednesday when the Sun, your source of vitality and light at 20 degrees Taurus will square Neptune, the planet of universal love at 20 degrees Aquarius. The energy of this square will make you will make you feel emotionally vulnerable today. Neptune on the Sun will weaken your ego demands for independence which can distort your reality of self, making you feel dreamy and unsure of your reality. Sometimes these feelings of inadequacy can create images of failure and you will construct impossible dreams to justify your inability to succeed. If you are to become independent and express yourself with confidence in this life, you must be willing to risk failure if you are to gain from the experience of living. With time you will grow more aware of your abilities and and will be able to accept full responsibility for your creative reality.

On Thursday Merc ury, the planet of communication at 13 degrees Taurus will be in opposition to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth. The energy expressed from this opposition of Mercury with Jupiter will make you think in grand terms. With this transit you can plan details with precision and clarity. Because you are looking at the greater whole which includes the finer details of your perception, communications with others today will have a touch of arrogance and cocksureness. Try to remain flexible enough to others' points of view or you could find yourself engaged in a heated debate.

On Friday Mercury, the planet of communications at 14 degrees Taurus, will sextile Uranus, the planet of unexpected change at 14 degrees Pisces. The energy expressed from this sextile of Mercury with Uranus will have you seeking excitement and change. You can expect a change in direction and your travel, and in communications with others today. All around you today, pleasant sur prises will influence the direction of your comings and goings that will give you new insights into your world.

Late Saturday night, the Moon at 22 degrees Scorpio will be in opposition to the Sun at 22 degrees Taurus. This opposition of the Moon and Sun is known as the Full Moon. This month's full moon will focus her light on your value system versus your resources. Since the Taurus (Sun) and Scorpio (Moon) polarity is connected with desire, your misuse of these energies can create trouble with regard to the objects you own, or wish to make your own. The Taurus desire to accumulate material goods for emotional security can lead to Scorpionic pride as well as jealousy under this month's Full Moon. This Full Moon Taurus-Scorpio polarity is concerned with what what you value. The problem of values is that they are connected with your Scorpio desire. Desire is also associated with sex, which will also be the focus of today's Full Moon. Scorpio is assoc iated with sex and all forms of letting go. Elimination, ejaculation, and death are all expressions of Scorpio's energy. This Full Moon will create confrontations that will intensify your awareness and appreciation of Earth's securities. The lesson of the Full Moon is not to become unduly attached to the physical gifts of Earth's abundance, which are given to use and discard.

On Saturday Mercury, the planet of communications at 17 degrees Taurus will sextile Mars, the planet of personal energy and ego drive at 17 degrees Cancer. The energy expressed from this sextile of Mercury with Mars will make for an extremely busy day. Mentally you are ready for any opportunities that arise today. You should take the initiative and don't hesitate to display your skills and know-how. Under this influence you will be successful.

On Sunday, Mercury, the planet of communications at 20 degrees Taurus will square Neptune, the planet of universal love at 20 degrees Aquarius. The energy of this square of Mercury with Neptune will cloud your judgment. Today's communications are hopelessly misunderstood or perhaps not even delivered. Don't believe all of what you hear today; truth will be distorted or misrepresented. What you think will be challenged by what you feel, and what you feel is only a fantasy of what you desire. Are you confused? You should be. Just stay in touch with the real world and maintain control over your fantasies today.

Have a great week! As above, so below.

The Aztecs Worshipped the Sun For a Reason You Know?

The once great Aztec Empire completely controlled and dominated what is now Honduras, San Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico for centuries. They were Sun Worshippers. The Aztec God was in the form of Energy and that energy was the Sun. What did the Aztecs know that we don't know?

They worshiped the Sun and believed and its Gods in the form of pure energy, yet 500 years later in the United States of America next door to where the Aztec Empire was ruled MesoAmerica we have forgotten all they had learned. Instead of using the Sun for our energy we have set of giant power plants, which indeed have served us well however, now we find out to that they often put out too much hydrofloralcarbons HFCs.

Perhaps we should take a little advice from the Aztecs and develop more solar power to help offset the needs of our civilization. The United States of America leads the world in research and development of energy and our DepArtment of Energy with its massive resources of funding help us stay on the leading edge of the latest technologies.

Today the cost to build solar cells has come down using new high-tech materials it behooves us to put the solar power to work in our homes, small businesses and government agencies. Perhaps we should use the technology and knowledge of the past and the promising technologies of the future in the present period. The Aztecs would've loved the idea of solar cells and we should to. Consider this in 2006.
