Every individual experiences dreams during his lifetime. Only a gifted person, who has the ability to foresee a thing or event without the use of the senses, can easily say that such dream is a clairvoyant dream.

Clairvoya nt dreams can be classified into two kinds: the warning dream and the anxiety dream. The warning dream is often a dream that looks into the future and foresees some sort of danger. In this kind of clairvoyant dream, the dreamer rarely appears in the experience. The anxiety dream, on the other hand, has something to do with what the mind wants to tell the dreamer. Your Numerology Name is Cosmic

Pythagoras, the mystical mathematician, refined and built upon earlier understandings regarding the quality of vibration inherent in the nine numbers we ordinarily use simply for counting things.

Each number - one through nine - carries a vibration that has a certain meaning relating to the nature of the universe, and the nature of being in terms of the human expression. The sequence of the numbers follows a progression akin to growth, i.e. the development of an individual.

All these number/energies can be seen as carrying cosmic power into the manifest world. Each of us comes into the world on the wave of one of these energy/numbers. The day we are born represents a particular moment in cosmic terms, a particular and precise placement of the individual and our planet in the energetic field of manifestation. Since there are only nine numbers out of which we express our birth-given creative energy, one might assume there are only nine human types running around on the planet. But this is not the case; for it is in our names where we find clues to our personality structures and our soul purposes.

The art and science of Numerology makes use of the letters in our names to pin point the subtleties of our individual vibration frequencies. Each letter of the alphabet is assigned a corresponding vibration.

By converting the letters to numbers, we can begin to build a picture of an individual's mind-body-spirit profile. At this point, the Doubting Thomas in you might be questioning how one's name can provide so-called cosmic information [that is information coming from the Cosmic Mind of All Knowing regarding an individual's mind-body-spirit profile. Whereas one's time of birth may seem less arbitrary, and thus understandable as something fated or destined, one's name, usually given by parents, seems to be rather somewhat arbitrary, or at least under the direct influence of the parents rather than a formulation having come from some higher source, such as one's Soul.

Numerology responds to this kind of questioning in various ways.

1. In most cases, parents generally consider it quite a serious matter when it comes to giving their child its name. They ponder deeply, listen to inner promptings, their dreams. They will consult other family members. Even when there is a desire to name the coming child after an older or deceased family member, the parents take into consideration many subtle thoughts and feelings. Even if the name giving comes out of some spontaneous inclination, such as naming the child after a favorite singer or movie star, or even a president of the country, or famous historical figure, such promptings, when looked into deeply, usually indicate an amount of intuitive activity happening within the psyche of the parent or parents. Therefore, it can be said that the name giving activity strives to impart in the new life a sense of its role in life or of its destiny.

2. In esoteric terms, it is said that the souls of the parents and the soul of the newborn, along with guides and teachers, have already formulated their life plans in the in-between stage, or life dimension of their soul existences. Thus the child's name along with the energy patterns the name represents has already been established before any of the souls involved have entered their physical existences.

3. And finally, one must consider the fact that a name, when spoken, carries an energy vibration in its most subtle form. And this sound imparts a subtle, intuitivel y understood message. The child, from infancy on, hears this vibratory message constantly. The parents murmur the name over and over. Eventually that energy pattern becomes imprinted into the child's sub-conscious mind. The parents have chosen the name as a consequence of deep intuitive urgings, no matter how superficial or flippant that choice may seem on the surface of things. The soul of the child has already made agreements with the souls of the parents, along with the help of spirit guides and teachers. The child is prepared to receive the subtle vibratory message that comes across when hearing its name spoken. And thus, the sub-conscious mind of the individual from childhood on is developing a hidden sense of the cosmic message for its Life Purpose, its Life's Goals - the reasons for its coming into the physical plane to express and learn and grow in a certain and precise way for the benefit of its Soul's Growth and Healing.

Develop Your Psychic Ability

TRUST YOURSELF. This is still the greatest way to develop your psychic ability and any other talents that you have. You develop anything that interests you by working with it, practicing a lot, and becoming aware of everything that is written, everything that is working, and aware of the people in the field who are making a huge achievement.

For your own psychic awareness stArt to become aware of how your receive messages. What does it feel like? How does it come in? Is there a specific pArt of your being that is receiving the information? How do you make an assessment that this is a message? How do you know? What do you feel? Trus t this process. As you become more aware of your own space, ability, and the psychic energy, set up little experiments for yourself. For an example: Put out a casual thought for someone to call you. Record how many times that happens. Become aware of your dreams, and watch if any of these come true and how often.

Listen silently, and see if you can pick up the thoughts of someone who is physically near you. StArt with someone you know well, like a friend or relative. See if you can hear the words, or get an impression of the thought picture that they are holding in their mind. Do not be afraid of this. You are practicing and developing as you would with any musical instrument, any new tool, or any skill. A pArt of you is a casual and objective observer. You are just becoming aware of what is there. You become aware of how you receive, and how you can transmit, and then you become aware of pictures, sounds, or words coming spontaneously in.

Some techniques of practice according to the Spiritcommunity.com website- Try pausing before you do something. For example, when the phone rings pause a few seconds before answering, can you tell who it is? Try it when someone knocks at your front door. Try it at work, can you tell when someone is happy, sad or pre-occupied with other things on their mind? Try to become universally aware, let your mind and body become an antenna to psychic information that flows through and about you. Touch objects that belong to someone that you know and try to see if you sense any impressions of that person. Work with a known psychic who is very adept at the psychic practice and who can teach you well. You need to feel very comfortable and trust this person.

One of the ways to develop and hone your talent is to work with the energy. Keep allowing yourself to receive messages. If you dont understand the messages keep ask probing questions until what you are receiving comes in more clearly. This is very effective when you are working in healing such as Reiki. When the information is correct, try to determine how it was correct, how that felt before and during the impressions. Was it a strong feeling? Was it more subtle? What pArt of your body did the information come through? Remember how it felt so that you can have greater understanding in the future when messages come through. Also if it felt off, or there was any tension. Why does it feel that way? What adjustme nt needs to be made, or is this a warning of something for you or the person?

When you are walking in the street or you get an impression about changing directions, or a thought of caution about something small, like locking your keys in the car. Pay attention to these little promptings. If you are open to this, you get prompting very frequently throughout the day. These are all little flashes of your psychic ability. The more that you tune in, the more clearer your impressions and flashes will become.

Astrology: A Short History

The origins of the science of Astrology are obscured by time but without doubt all the ancient records from various civilizations refer to it as a sacred science, and, particularly in past times, it was studied alongside what was then regarded as its twin science: astronomy.

Astrology probably evolved from primitive times when man first related the events of his life to a power stronger than himself. At the mercy of unknown elements affecting human life, he no doubt tried to find a rational solution by seeking to link his destiny with the heavenly bodies that were displayed in the night skies.

However, from the e arliest records to which we have access, from the time of the earliest known civilizations, Astrology was already established as a sophisticated system of knowledge. It identified the planets, symbolically divided the sky into zodiacal signs and what is more important, had some knowledge beyond the forms of celestial bodies as to the interpretation of their invisible influences upon the human psyche and life on our earth.

Every ancient civilization - Egyptian, Chaldean, Sumerian, Chinese to name a few, had their own astrological systems. And nearly all the ancient scriptures have interesting references to Astrology. It increases our respect for this knowledge to know just how deeply it has been a part of human culture. Some claim that the first great astrologers mentioned in history are Petosiris and Necepso, believed to have lived in the reign of Rameses II of Egypt. Others such as the classical writer Simplicius in the sixth century AD says that he always heard that the Egyptians had kept astronomical observations and records for a period of 63,000 years. Diogenes Laertius dated Egyptians to 48,863 years before Alexander the Great. Martianus Capella corroborates this by telling that the Egyptians had secretly studied Astronomy for over 40,000 years before they imparted their knowledge to the world. Chinese knowledge of astronomy dates back to 18,000 years ago. The text Vedanga Jyotisha in Indian Vedic literature shows Astrology to have been known in times which pre-date known history.

There is a great deal of evidence to support that Astrology and astronomy were both integral to the culture of people both east and west. Modern archaeologists confirm that many relics continue to come be found, that directly refer to both astronomy and Astrology in past ages.

Obviously beyond studying the evidence that is available, we can only speculate as to the real time of the birth of Astrology but can feel very certain of its validity as a science and its serious application. In earlier times this would have been the province and responsibility of the priesthood who used it in the temples for healing; scholars within all cultures studied and assisted in advancing the science and it was certainly used by rulers in promoting the welfare of their country and in planning strategies for defence and campaigns to extend their power.

Although it is well known that rulers over the last centuries in the western world have employed astrologers to assist in determining 'auspicious' dates for events of importance, from Queen Elizabeth I to Napoleon and even some of our present day rulers, Astrology now provides knowledge which is accessible to all.

There are many practical applications of both serious and more frivolous purposes which are presently being explored by enterprising people, and these include gardening, horseracing, weather prediction, animal breeding and many others.

Its most popular application in modern times however, has been to help the individual in self- analysis. As well, professional psychologists are beginning to observe the benefits in helping them understand the different types of personality and behaviour. This is perhaps the area most deserving of the old association as a 'sacred' science which relates the great natural forces outside our world to the activities and interests of humanity on our own planet.

Astrology Can Help You Live a More Peaceful and Happier Life

Astrology is the study of the differing planetary Energies and their effects on humans. We as human beings are here to learn, we do not do things wrong or make mistakes, we are just Learning. Life is a Journey of Learning. Whilst we are here on earth we will continue to learn our lessons, whether we like it or not, whether we are aware of it or not.

The more we are open and aware of any reactions we may have when interacting with others, and the more flexible we are to change. The easier our Life will flow. Elvis The King of Numerology?

Everyone knows that Elvis Presley was The King. But did you know that he was a Numerologist?

Sound complicated? It's actually pretty simple when you start looking at it. For example, one very common calculation is a person's Life Path number. This number is derived from a basic calculation on a person's date of birth. The result tells you certain common traits and characteristics about that person, in a similar way to their star sign in astrology.

The real power of Numerology though, is when you take that Life Path number and link it to other dates such as today's date, or even a date in the future. With further calculations, it's possible to determine what the future holds for that person on the date in question.
