Astrology is the study of the differing planetary Energies and their effects on humans. It is not fortune telling it is an incredible calculable tool, which when studied, can help you find out the reason for this incarnation, what you have incarnated to learn this Life time to help you through your evolvement.

Through the study of Astrology and your birth chart, you will learn the qualities, gifts and talents which you have brought in with you from previous lives that when realized and harnessed can be shared with the world and humanity. The Moon is quite different from the Sun, it allows us to feel our emotions, and it also influences the waters of the seas giving them higher or lower tides dep ending on the phases of the Moon. It allows us to get in touch with our past and to be in tune with our feminine side and to nurture. The Moon represents our Mother.

The planet Venus has differing qualities again; its Energies allow the opportunity to relate to others, to have self worth or lack of it. It is the planet of love, beauty, balance and peace. All these qualities of energy can be played out negatively or positively. It is our choice, so once we are aware of these Energies and with some knowledge of Astrology we can choose to play our game of Life positively. Then, our Life will be more enjoyable, more Peaceful within ourselves and the world and more content with our lot, because, what we give out we get back, it's that simple.

Now, my belief is that on a soul level, we as humans chose t he parents, the date, time and place we needed to be born at, so that the planets would be in such a configuration, and beaming their differing qualities of energy, that we need to have this Life time to learn the lessons, required to help us climb a little further up the ladder of evolution... We as human beings are here to learn, we do not do things wrong or make mistakes, we are just Learning. Life is a Journey of Learning. Whilst we are here on earth we will continue to learn our lessons, whether we like it or not, whether we are aware of it or not.

The more we are open and aware of any reactions we may have when interacting with others, and the more flexible we are to change. The easier our Life will flow. By finding out just where all the planets were stationed in the heavens, when you were born will tell an astrologer just what lessons you have incarnated to learn.

Vaastu Shastra Useful Tips

Vaastu shastra is an ancient science which helps one to get the natural benefits freely offered by the five basic elements of the universe in which we all live. These basic elements are Akash (SKY), Prithvi (EARTH), Paani (WATER), Agni (FIRE), and Vayu (WIND). Here are some beneficial tips for domestic and commercial vastu:

Domestic Vaastu :

1. Green or yellow and a sour plot of land is said to be favourable for buisnessman, commercial places and financial institutions.

2. Sweet, plain, fragment and a hard plot of land is suitable for building.

3. Slope towards north or east is said to be favourable. slope of the roof should be in north east corner.

4. An underground source of Water, a well, a pond or a tap with a flight of stAirs to the surface of Water situated north, east or no rth east corner of a plot is said to be auspicious.

5. A plot between two bigger plots is not said to be auspicious.

6. A rectangular, circular or gomukhi plot of land is said to be auspicious in domestic vaastu. On the circular plot the building to should be in circular shape.

7. Paths on north or east to the plot are auspicious.

8. A temple, pillar or a ditch in front of the building is not considered to be auspicious.

9. A basement should not be constructed under a resiential plot.

10. The height of the ceiling of every story should be of 12 feet. it must not be less than 10 feet.

Commercial Vaastu :

1. The owner of the commercial house should sit in south, west or south - western portion in such a way that he should be facing north or east.

2. The goods in the shop and showroom should be kept in south, west or north east.

3. No beam should be there over the cash counter, above the owner or the manager.

4. Entrance of the main office should be facing north or east.

5. Canteen should be built in Ageny Kona only.

6. Gates of all cabins should be open inwards.

7. Reception room should be near the entrance.

8. Decorative plants and flower pots can be planted in north, east or north - eastern part of the reception room.

9. Dining hall in a restaurant should be built in its western part. If necessary, it can be built in south and east also.

10. Room for patients should not be built to the south of the hospital.

Tarot Cards: An Introduction

What is the Tarot?

The Tarot is a deck of 78 cards, featuring illustrations that can be interpreted in various ways. The deck is divided into two sections, called the major and minor arcana. The major arcana features the 21 trump cards, and the minor arcana is divided into four suits (wands, pentacles, cups and swords) each with cards featuring the numbers 1-10, an ace and four court cards (the Page, Knight, Queen and King).

Origin of the Tarot

The oldest known Tarot cards originated in 15th century Italy. The Tarot appears to have started life as a card game, and was at first restricted to the wealthy upper classes, although after the invention of the printing press, the cards became more widely available. Some writers have claimed (despite the apparent lack of evidence) that the imagery of the Tarot cards suggests a more ancient origin, and have connected the Tarot with such cultures and traditions as the ancient Egyptians and the mystical Hebrew Kabbal ah.

Later Developments

It was not until the 18th century that the cards became associated with the occult and mystical activities with which they are often linked today. This began in 1781, when the freemason Antoine Court de Gebelin made the claim in his work 'Le Monde Primatif' that Tarot cards contained hidden meanings (which he associated with the ancient Egyptians) that could be used for divinatory purposes.

Since then other mystic and magical traditions, such as the order of the Golden Dawn, have claimed that the Tarot has ancient roots, and that is has hidden wisdom to impart to those seeking enlightenment.

The Tarot's mass appeal increased with the publication of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot in 1910. Arthur Edwards Waite was a Golden Dawn member, and in this new deck, drawn by the artist Pamela Colman Smith, images with occult symbolism were included on the numeric cards, as well as the trump cards. This deck was very successful (and remains popular today), and since then, hundreds if not thousands of diverse new decks have been published, with many enthusiasts creating their own.

Uses of the Tarot

The Tarot has several distinct uses, including:

1. Games

This was its original use, and it is still used for gaming purposes in some European countries.

2. Psychology

Carl jung was the first mainstream psychologist to attach meaning to the Tarot cards, when he associated them with the fundamental archetypes that he believed to reside in the collective human unconscious. Several therapeutic techniques involving the Tarot have developed from this insight.

3. Inspiration

Many artists and writers have produced works inspired by the Tarot.

4. Divination Fortune telling is perhaps the most commo n use associated with the Tarot. The images on the cards may help the person seeking the reading to tap into their own subconscious knowledge. Others believe that the cards themselves hold some kind of inherent divinatory power, which may be read by a skilled person. For this reason, handling another person's cards is generally frowned upon in occult circles, as their energy could become contaminated.

Doing a Reading

There is no set method for performing a divinatory Tarot reading. However there are several popular layouts or 'spreads', with perhaps the most well known being the Celtic cross. This is usually the first method taught to beginners, although it is by no means the most simple. Experienced Tarot readers will often invent their own spreads, with their own means of interpretation.

Once the cards are selected by the person receiving the reading, the reader lays them out in a spread and analyses them, taking into account the positions relative to e ach other, the symbolism of the individual cards, and their position (upright or reversed).

Meaning of the Cards

There is no generally agreed upon interpretation of the Tarot cards. They all have imagery of varying degrees of complexity, and the wide range of decks available makes the situation even more difficult. Nevertheless there is a huge amount of writings available on the symbology of the Tarot, and on the most basic level, the 22 major arcana cards are thought to represent the journey of the Fool from ignorance to enlightenment.

In addition, the minor arcana cards have their own symbolism. The numbers are most obviously associated with numerology, and the suits are linked to the four elements (Swords=Air; Cups=Water; Wands=Fire; Pentacles=Earth). The Tarot has also been linked with other mystical and occult systems such as the I Ching, astrology, and the Kabbalah.

Choosing a Tarot Deck

There is a huge range of Tarot decks to choose from . Two classic decks are the symbolism-rich Rider-Waite deck, and Crowley's Thoth deck, both of which remain very popular. The early Marseille deck (used by Gebelin to illustrate 'Le Monde Primitif') is another important deck, also. There are also many less conventional decks to choose from, and people with just about any special interest can find a deck to match.

Feminists, for example, might like the Motherpeace Tarot with its round cards and exclusively female imagery, whereas some of those interested in Paganism might enjoy the Witches deck or the DruidCraft Tarot. Tarot decks can be found representing animals too, as well natural imagery, various sports, and other common activities. In fact, whatever your taste, there's probably a Tarot pack available to match, and most can be found online as well as from bookstores, new age shops etc.

How to Use Zodiac Sign to Resolve Conflicts

The best way to understand the zodiac signs is to think of them as twelve separate energy fields in space that consist of either fire, earth, air, or water. This is easy to understand if you think of what happens when you pour water on fire. Obviously, you know that the fire goes out. In a sense, water has eliminated it. We all know that fire and water are not compatible.
