Halloween Among the Stars: The Seven Sisters Pleiades

Have you ever heard of The Seven Sisters, also known as the Pleiades? It is a small Constellation made up of seven Stars that is shaped like a cluster of grapes. While this Constellation is small, many people believe that the Pleiades has witnessed and foretells of many big things. Some people believe that a cataclysmic event, one that may have killed thousands maybe millions of people, happened while The Seven Sisters were in the sky. A few even believe that the world will end while The Seven Sisters shine overhead.

So what does this all have to do with Halloween? Well, if for some reason you found yourself on a deser ted island without a calendar, you could still celebrate Halloween because the Pleiades is always right overhead during Halloween.

But what truly makes The Seven Sisters a sinister set of Stars is the fact that not only is Halloween celebrated at this time, but so was an ancient Aztec ceremony involving a human sacrifice and the end of the world, a Celtic ceremony called Samhain when evil spirits would invade the earth and a Mexican holiday called Days of the Dead (da de los muertos). Ancient temples in Greece were built to be lined up with Pleiades. And so was a major Aztec temple. The Pleiades is even mentioned in the bible, in the book of Job and has a place in Brahman faith as the sparks from a god of fire. The set of Stars is so widely mentioned and so often associated with death and destruction, that there are some who suspect that the Pleiades were overhead when a terrible event happened on Earth.

No one is quite sure what this event was, though some suspect that it may have been the great flood that is talked about in the Bible or perhaps the cataclysmic event that lead to the sinking of Atlantis. The Aztecs believed that the world had not been destroyed just once when the Pleiades were overhead, but rather four times. And that if a human sacrifice was not made once every 52 years (when their two calendars coincided), that the world would be once again destroyed while those seven Stars looked down.

So this Halloween, when you are taking your kids out trick-or-treating or on your way to a costume party, make sure you stop for a moment and look up at the Stars. See if you can locate the Seven Sisters overhead in the night sky. You might also want to stop and wonder what horrors that little cluster of Stars has witnessed, and if they might witness a few more sometime in the future.

Sacred Geometry

Harmonics is the study of the rhythms and sub rhythms of Cosmic periods. It is a study that is rapidly taking a whole melange of astrological techniques and bringing them to a coordinated, simplified and unified whole.

Where once some methods of delineating a chart were considered to be superior to others, it is now seen that, at a level invisible to the eye, everything is connected.

That connection is through the medium of Number. Number participates in a continuum that unfolds in time and the properties of Number allow multiples of meanings to be used interchangeably to create the whole fabric of the Universe.

One of the greatest leaps in astronomical and astrological thought came from Johannes Kepler. Kepler's laws of planetary motion, and Harmonics divulge the connection between planets and cycles through the medium of proportion and rhythm. Through the further development of these laws, where once we only understood the Geometry of specific angular d ivisions of the chart, known as aspects, we now understand the wider implications of the wave motion they represent. As a result we have come to understand how those aspects might represent Vibrational qualities that resonate throughout the Universe.

In an outline of Kepler's Astrology, Wolfgang Pauli commented that, according to Kepler, individual souls have the ability to react to certain harmonious proportions, which correspond to specific rational divisions of a circle. In music, this ability is revealed in our perception of euphony or consonance in certain musical intervals. Our souls are said to be able to react similarly to harmonious proportions of angles that rays of stellar light make with each other when they strike the earth. In the case of planets, these are the aspects of traditional Astrology.

Although the original idea of a 'harmony of the Spheres' descends from before Christ, Kepler was instrumental in helping us to understand the inherent order and perfection of our World. As Sir James Jeans once said he (God) is addicted to arithmetic.

One branch of scientific thought that works with the concept of Number is Archaeocryptography. The A-cryptographer work with Ancient sites and monuments and explore their relationship to Number. In the course of their studies they have come up with some astounding information which can only lead one to surmise that although Kepler discovered certain laws, he was possibly only a conduit through which knowledge flowed from a greater Consciousness.

For it would seem that the Ancient civilisations possessed an understanding of Number, Geometry and proportion beyond any level we could have imagined.

For instance, in Wiltshire, England lies the megalithic structure, Stonehenge. This site once comprised of 30 stones with 30 lintels laid on top. The perimeter of the site is enclosed by a 360-degree circle. If you multiply 60 by the 360 degree circle you obtain the Number 21,600.

The location of Stonehenge is 51 degrees, 10 mins and 42,3529411764 seconds of latitude north of the equator which, when multiplied also produces 21,600 (51 X10X 42,3529411764) and yet the people of that time in history were not supposed to have known that a circle had 360 degrees of arc

What is this synchrony?

In Mexico there is a pyramid known as The Pyramid of Magicians in Uxmal. It is apparently one of the only ones to be square sided and round cornered. So it is the merger of two common geometrical forms, the circle and the square.If you square a circle i.e. 360 squared, 360 squared = 129,600 (: 120 54 = 20.000) Which is where it is to the west of the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

As if this wasnt enough food for thought it also emerges that Easter Island, Nazca, Ollantaytambo, Paratoari, Tassili n'Ajjer and Giza are all aligned on a single great circle around the Globe. Additional Ancient sites that are located within one tenth of one degree of this great circle include Petra; Perseopolis; Khajuraho; Pyay, Sukothai and Anatom Island.

So what does all this tell us?

An immense play of mirrors thus exists in an immemorial way between the macrocosm and the microcosm, the Creation and the creature, the Creation and the Creator, the creature and the Creator; and it is made possible by mathematics, because this is at the same time their common essence and their common reason. It is the only natural language, because it is the only one in which Nature expresses itself. And it is necessary to take literally this idea of expression: Nature is not only full of meaning, but full of a meaning which is not hidden, which on the contrary announces itself openly in the spectacle of the heavens each hour, each day, provided one knows the language in wh ich it manifests itself. Far from being contingent like the languages of man, mathematics conceals and reveals the secret necessity of things. Because of this, it is a sacred although natural language, or rather sacred because natural; perhaps even the only truly sacred language... The work of the Astrologer is to translate these mathematical relationships and reveal the Geometry, or pattern, that our birthchart describes. For when all is said and done, we too are an integral part of the sacred Geometry of Creation.

House Energy Correction Horoscopes Karma & Crystal Energy Fields Part I

House Energy Correction is the concept of controlling the 8 Directional Energies; 7 Chakras and 7 Energy Bodies of the People; Boosting and Balancing the 5 Elements of the Lands & Buildings. Simply stated, it is the Total Energy Rectification of Horoscopes of the Family Members and Business Partners; Vaastu and Fengshui Energy Correction for their Lands & Buildings. Question 1 : What exactly is Energy Correction ?

Human beings, like all objects, receive different levels of energies from the 8 different directions. When all the 8 directional energies are positive enough, they get positive results. When the Energy levels dip below a limit, they suffer. For example, if a person receives high positive Energy from his North, he will be financially well off. But if he also receives negati ve Energy from his South East, he will never be able to enjoy it. The blue print of the Energy levels of a person at his birth time is what you could call as his Birth Horoscope.

These 8 Energy streams control the 7 Chakras and 7 Energy Bodies of the person, which in turn control every thing else in his life. The quality (positive or negative) of the Energy and the quantum (percentage) of the Energy that a person receives is his Karma or Destiny. The concept of correcting the 8 Directional Energies and tuning the 7 Chakras & Energy Bodies of a person so that he stays within a 100% positive Energy belt all his life-time is called Personal Energy Correction.

Question 2 : Can you explain more about these Energy Beams from the 8 Directions ?

Energy (or Prana or Chi) is pure and on it's own, is a lways balanced positive. It is the basic power brick on which the Cosmos is built upon. However, depending upon the Karma of the Person, Land and Building, it/he receives Energy either as positive or negative. Then the percentage of the positive or negative Energy that it/he receives culminates in positive or negative events of it's/his life. Unlike Land and Building, the Person moves. Where the Person moves, his Karma follows. So do the Energy Beams that he receives from the 8 Directions. It does not matter what direction he is moving or facing, it does not matter whether he is in India or America, he keeps receiving the same Energy Beams with the same Quality (Positive or Negative) and Quantity (Percentage), until the change is destined or brought about.

Question 3 : You spoke of Horoscope & Karma. Are you saying that both can be rectified ?

Yes ofcourse. All the Planetary Energies are received by a person through the 8 Directional Energies only. By filtering o r/and transforming them, you pacify the planets, remove the effects of problems like female curses, planetary & pithru doshas, etc. In other words, you rectify the Birth Horoscope itself. In fact, there is a more sophisticated process with which I undertake Karma Correction itself. This process minimises the bad Karma to such an extent that one simply doesn't feel it's impact at all.

Question 4 : So then what is House Energy Correction ?

House Energy Correction is a two fold process. In the first fold, Personal Energy Correction (including Horoscope Rectification) for all the residing family members is done. In the second fold, the Five Elements of the Land and the House are fully balanced. In other words, the Karma of the Lands, Home and the People living there are integrated, cleansed, tuned and balanced. That is called House Energy Correction.

Astrology Never Lies

Contrary to its detractors concerted opinion, Astrology is not superstition. Superstition is more akin to: If I break a mirror, I will have 7 years bad luck. or If a bird flies into my house, someone will die. or If I step on a sidewalk crack, I will break my mother's back. or When It's Christmas and the weather is warm, it will be cold at Easter.

Those are Superstitions. Astrology is not superstition. Not even close. Astrology is a language. It exists. Like Estonian or French. It just plain exists. Like hard boiled eggs or chutney. Now, for some, languages that they do not know and are unable to read or converse in, constitute a sort of threat. When we hear friends chatting in a language that we don't know and we are present, we almost automatically imagine that they are talking about us. This is a kind of natural paranoia. We cannot understand. So we feel threatened or left out and perhaps even targeted as a victim.

Astrology, like any language, does have to be learned in order to be used. That's why some people are astrologers and others have other learnd professions such as doctors. An astrologer might tell you that your Sun in Leo means that you tend to want to be in the spotlight, but if your rising sign is Pisces, that Leo need for the spotlight might be mitigated.

This sort of diagnosis is not unsimilar to when a Dr tells you that the lump on your arm looks like a cyst, but if the tests come out positive, it might be something more serious. He looks at the cystic physical evidence, but he also digs further to find out if it might be something more threatening.

Now the language of Astrology has been much squelched and derided by a sector of the population we refer to as scientists or , in any case, people who believe that science (another language) is the pathway to understanding every human ill - including mental, emotional and physical ailments - and to conquering and refining and owning whatever commodity is available to man. (Space flight for example or improved hard boiled eggs)

But squelching a language doesn't always put it out of existence. And Astrology has survived the giant squelch of science and remains a means of communication between peoples and a method of both diagnosing and better understanding the human condition. Astrology is not in competition with science. It's just there alongside it the way that TV is there alongside the Internet. The two media must co-exist. They cannot afford to be at war. The Internet will win. It's bigger. And younger. TV knows that the way that Astrology knows that it must coexist with science because if there was a war between them Science would win. It's bigger. And younger.

Nonetheless, there is wisdom in what is ancient. So Astrology continues to exist. Some people study it and are able to use it in their work and daily lives. Other people don't study it sufficiently to become astrologers. But they dabble and they enjo y dabbling. Other people (most people) consult astrologers. They are the clients or the patients or the consultees who come to people like me for advice and information about their astrological charts: Who am I? What should I do about my mother-in-law's interfering in my Marriage? How can I get a divorce and keep my children? Why do I not have self-confidence? Where am I making my mistakes and why do I keep making them over and over again?

What some skeptical people (the Science-blinded or prejudiced) don't know is that the answers to all of those questions are sitting right there in peoples' astrological charts. Moreover, just because most people don't know how to read their charts and don't speak the language or know how to interpret the letters (symbols), doesn't mean the answers are not there. They are.

Astrology never lies. I have heard it tell me and my clients the truth over and over and over again, thousands of times. A client writes and asks me why she c annot seem to get a husband. She's young and beautiful and accomplished and owns her own home. Yet, she has nobody to share it with. What should she do?

I find out her birth date, time and place (sometimes she sends me a photo as well) and I do her chart. First thing I note is that she is more accomplished than she let on in her query letter. I know already that she is president of her own company. But she is also an Aries with Leo rising and she was born in a Rooster year. This woman is what my mother used to call a tough cookie and a multitalented cookie at that!

She doesn't bend easily. She is not soulful and won't listen to whining - even her own. She wants to be in the spotlight (Leo rising) and she is indeed in her own spotlight all the time. She's also a Rooster which is one of the most successfully non-flexible signs out there. Rigidity lurks in this woman's chart and has already done some damage to her private life.

But... I look further and...Eure ka! This young woman has the Moon in Cancer. She is longing for a home and children and a man to share it with. But, because the Aries and the Rooster and the Leo ganged up and got a hold on her soul (Moon) when she was still very young, she followed them to her own multimillion dollar successful oblivion. She learned how NOT to share and she made her fortune by being ruthless and firm in her opinions. (Aries/Rooster w Leo rising)

It's gets better. I dig a bit deeper and what do I find? This woman has Venus in Scorpio!

NB: I know. I know. You just don't get it when we tell you that there's a planet in some sign or other about which you know less than zero. Why? Because we are speaking to you in a language which is foreign to you. And this time it is about YOU. But we are not trying to hide anyting. You can learn the language too. Nobody is stopping you.

So our young woman has Venus in Scorpio. This means for some astrologers( We are not all alike. Just like doctors... Get a second opinion) that she equates love with sex and mystery and passion. She is hunting for passion and she is only finding suits and ties and expensive trappings. Why?

Because here she is, the president of a thriving software company, owner of her own 3000 sq ft. house and two luxury cars, 35 years old and beautiful and she cannot find a husband - someone to love and be loved by and make a family and a life with.

So?

She's too strong by half. And she is moreover attracted to the wrong kind of suitor. She has always thought she needed someone like me. A mensch. A boss person. A leader of men (and women). Balderdash! Two bosses in the same household? Ouch.

She needs either a steadying, long-suffering Ox or a lovely, langourous Snake or even a tempestuous Tiger - born in Gemini or Leo or perhaps Sagittarius because she has Mercury (her communication planet) in Sagittarius. And those guys she should be looking for are not necessarily w orld beaters. They might be teachers or poets or musicians or even weedy scientists who leave their brains in the laboratories when they come home at night. They should not be head honchos. She is the head honcho. She needs soul. So she should find someone with extra soul to share.

Need I say more? Astrology simply never lies!

Astrology? It's Element ary My Dear Watson

What kind of RAT are you?

The Five Chinese Elements are WOOD, FIRE, EARTH, METAL & WATER. If you are a Water Rat, you are not the same sort of Rat as your friend who is a Wood Rat. Ditto Fire Horses. Fire Horses are feistier and more obstreperous than calmer, more serious Earth Horses. Here's how it works:

To allow for movement to occur and bring about change, Chinese philosophy calls upon the five elements as agents of change and reaction. Change, the Chinese think, derives from the influence of the five main elementsWood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Wateron the basic Yin or Yang energies. Like in the old rock, paper, scissors game that we played as kids, each of these five Chinese elements has the ability to control and/or destroy the previous element, and is capable of producing the element that directly follows it. Astrology A Simple Reading

Because astrological readings can be a chapter in a book alone, for the purposes of this article we're going to do a very simple and stripped down reading. However, this will give you a good foundation for really getting into depth when doing your own reading.

The first thing you have to do is get the subject's birth info. We need the date, time and place of birth. For the purposes of this reading, we'll just pull some info out of thin air. Let's take April 15, 1984, at 8:00 AM in the town of Newark, New Jersey.

We take this information and throw it into our favorite astrological computer program. For this example we'll use Astro123, which is actually a shareware program with some very powerful features.

After throwing in our variables, the program spits out an astrological chart for us containing the position of each planet and some analysis to follow.

Reading the chart itself can be a little difficult at first, but with some practice you'll m ore than get the hang of it.

The first thing we want to look for is the sun sign. In this case, the sun is in Aries so this person is an Aries. As stated in an earlier article people born between March 21 and April 20 are Aries. Aries people have very strong personalities and are usually natural born leaders. They are very straightforward, which means they can be very blunt. An Aries is the kind of person you want to have as a friend as they will fight to the death to defend your honor.

Looking beyond that, we have the following pieces of information. This person's moon is in Scorpio. This indicates that this person is very secretive and tends to brood in silence over the wrongs that people have done to him or her. These wrongs can be real or imagined. It doesn't matter to a person with their moon in Scorpio. Other planets are in other signs but we concentrate on the moon because since it is the body that is closest to the Earth it is the one with the m ost influence on us.

Then there are the planets as they fall into certain houses. Remember, there are 12 houses and 8 planets plus the sun and moon. How each of these bodies fall into each house affects how we deal with the various aspects of our lives.

For example, this person born on this day has the moon in their 5th house. Taking what we know about each of these we can make some generalizations about this person. The moon is what represents our feminine side. The 5th house is the house of creativity. A person with the moon in their 5th house indicates that emotions may get in the way of creativity. This is not a good thing for someone who dreams of being an artist. Unfortunately, many of histories most tormented artists had the moon in their 5th house at birth. That is why so many ended up as suicides or going mad.

Then we have the aspects that we discussed in an earlier article. These are the things that provide us with the challenges in our lives. One of the strongest aspects in this person's chart is Mars being square to Neptune. In this case it is a perfect square at exactly 90 degrees. Squares are the most challenging of aspects. In this case, Mars square to Neptune indicates a person who fights for the underdog. Many rights activists have Mars square to Neptune. These people are constantly challenged and their lives are never easy when fighting for the rights of others.

These few pieces of information are but a fraction of a person's astrological analysis. You can see now why Astrology is such a complex science and a lot more than just predicting the future.

Astrology: What is It?

Astrology is a science, which, together with the knowledge gained in astronomy, observes and records how celestial bodies and zodiacal influences affect life on our planet. Generally it is related to the effects upon humans, but also takes into account mineral life, vegetable life and animal life. The influences from the planets and beyond form complex patterns, much like weather conditions, and also indicate calm or turbulent atmospheres-but these are beyond the visible range of influence.

This is placed in your Astrological Chart as your Rising Sign and it is just as important as your well known Sun sign which we determine by the day and the month of birth. In the middle of all these influences we take our first breath by which we assert the beginning of our life.

The influences which existed at the time of our birth however, are very strong and affect our personality, our basic temperament, early family life, and determine a great deal of ou r instinctive attitudes in thought and feeling, beyond those that develop through our environment. However, regarding human life it must be understood that each person by their free will, can react positively or negatively in any situation as we do under changing weather conditions. What George W Bush's Numbers Say About the Coming Year

Regardless of how you feel about his politics, George W. Bush is a symbol for America as a whole. He embodies much of what is both best and worst about us as a people. As Pagans and Wiccans, we know that as a symbol, those influences that affect Bush personally, tend to affect us as a Nation. 'As is above, so is below'. So; with his 60th Birthday coming up next month, and his popularity at an all time low, I wanted to see what his Numerology looked like for the coming year.

As a Numerologist, if I want to see what's in persons future there are (3) main calculations which I check: their Life Cycles, their Letters of Transit and their Personal Year. These values give me a general idea of what might be looming in their future; albeit requiring some interpretation.

His Life Cycle

George Bush entered his third and final Life Cycle to date in 2003, corresponding with his re-election campaign. The cycle holds opportunities to work with other p eople in teams or large groups (very fitting). He will be very sensitive to the opinions of other people in this cycle.

His cycle challenge is a reluctance to enjoy life, or to do something just for fun. He will also have extra difficulties in expressing himself in this Life cycle.

His Transit Letters

Transit letters are calculated from a person's full birth name and are the most detailed predictor of events unique to an individual. George Bush's current Transit Letters are 'RKU'. They begin on his Birthday in 2005 and will change on his Birthday next year in 2007.

The letter 'K' indicates times of spiritual inspiration and unusual events in the president's life. It marks a time when his marriage will grow stronger. It can also mark a time of health troubles. 'K' as a Transit letter that will last for (2) years, so its effects should be felt in the next 12 months.

If reflected on our nation, might this indicate spiritual ins piration and systemic health problems for our people as a whole? Will we see surprises and difficulties call us together to strengthen our relationships?

'R' as a Transit letter that lasts for (9) years, the longest time possible. We're only 3 years into this 'R' period, so it will last through his presidency.

Again, on a national scale, could this indicator of ambition and frustrating delays reflect on us and our feelings about the war and other policies of our government? If so, I don't see this ending during the Bush presidency.

The Letter 'U' indicates a time of creativity, but also a time of poor financial success. The president will need his confidence bolstered during these years. 'U' as a Transit letter that lasts for (3) years; it's influence started in 2004 and will end next year.

As a nation, this might be a foreteller of continued economic woes through the next 12 months. We too are experiencing doubts in our current direction. The best news I see here is that this will pass in July of next year.

His Personal Year

2006 is a Personal Year (3) for President Bush. In seeming contradiction, this indicates a time of happiness and joy. This is a year of optimism and perceived benefits for him. It's also a year in which important decisions should be put off. Bush should wait until 2007 to make any major policy decisions.

With the mid-term election coming up in November, I expect that the president and the nation will hold off on any major changes in the status quo. Expect any changes in the troop levels in Iraq to wait until next year.

I also believe that as a nation, we too will be filled with optimism for the rest of 2006. Whither this is a function of upcoming oppo rtunity for change or a rally of the national spirit to our problems, the optimism is definitely there.

Finally, although the relationship is imperfect, there appears to be a definite link between the aspects of George W. Bush's Numerology and that of the nation as a whole. As a strong believer in the power of symbolic magic, I would be shocked if it were otherwise.

Find Out What Astrology Can and Can't Do for You

Almost everyone worries about the Future at one point or another. We become uncertain about income, Relationships, and Health, and we do everything in our power to ensure positive outcomes. When personal strength fails, some people decide to turn to Astrology and stargazing in hopes of learning more about what lies in their path and what they can do to prepare for it.

5. Ask about the tellers methods. How does she see into the Future? How reliable is her methodology?

Take specific questions or areas of your life that you would like to ask about during your consultation. Write down the tellers specific words or phrases so you can check for accuracy later.
